Osseo Gun Club offers various levels of firearms training classes (for the first time shooter to the experienced law enforcement professional) taught by friendly instructors. Our expectation is to make sure every student receives the highest level of training to develop the self-confidence and skills necessary for their individual area of interest. Our immersion training program gives our students the opportunity to train and interact in real life scenarios where they can develop various strategies for self-protection and to be able protect their families.
From first-time shooters to experienced law enforcement agents, we offer training for all experience levels and disciplines, our classrooms complete the training experience as a whole. We provide a spacious, comfortable, state-of-the-art classrooms and offer the latest in audio-visual equipment. We can comfortably accommodate large & small groups of students in one of three appropriate sized classrooms.
All of our classes are taught by experienced and certified professional instructors. Classes are held daily--cost is all inclusive except for ammo. and include the use of a firearm when needed . If using our firearm you are required to purchase our ammo .
Once you have taken our permit to carry class to receive your " MN Permit to carry" you will need to complete an application for a permit to carry ( Click here for link to open form ) and submit it to your local Sheriffs department in the county you reside along with your class completion certificate & pay the required permit fee which varies per county. Once approved you will receive your permit which is good for 5 years and also serves as a permit to purchase for hand guns and assault type firearms.
Individuals taking courses at OGC need to give no less than 72 hours to be able to reschedule their course with a $25.00 rescheduling fee. Individuals who do not cancel or reschedule prior the 72 hours notice will have 6 months from date of purchase to take class with a $45.00 rescheduling charge- all purchases are final .
The 72 hour window allows OGC to contact customers who have been waiting to get into courses that have already been sold out. * You must be 21 years or older to attend CCW classes. OGC reserves the right to decide on student participation or issuance of certificate for any reason.
Special accommodations are provided on a case by case basis and require email request and in person assessment. with instructor four weeks prior to class..
